THIERRY DUMOUCHEL

I was born and brought up in rural Normandy, France. From a very young age I learned to appreciate the value of fresh, quality food. As part of a farming family we all took a part in growing and rearing the food we ate. I am a great believer in the saying 'you are what you eat' and have always been against the addition of  any artificial chemicals and preservatives to the food we consume. It is this philosophy that inspires me to create the breads, cakes and pastries which makes Dumouchel so special. My career has taken me to London, Paris, Sydney and Tokyo, including Hotel de Paris, Monaco, Chateaux D'Esclimont and Pelletier, Paris learning new and exciting techniques and skills. I have also been technical director and senior lecturer for the world famous Le Cordon Bleu Organisation. I look forward to your visit.
